A princess through 50mm

I spent last night playing with an EF 50mm f/1.2 L. I realize that’s probably gibberish to most people but to me it’s enough to get me all drooly and twitterpated. Luckily I had a willing subject to point it at. Prehaps someday I’ll actually spring for one of my own, but until then the lovely folks at Borrowlenses.com have lent me one to fall in love with.

I have an inexpensive 1.8. I need to play with it more, b/c I love these tight focus shots. It’s just so hard to get used to composing with, since it has no zoom and everything seems so close! What fun shots you got!

I have to say … I really love the tough girl look in the 2nd picture. And I love the picture of Loeki. 🙂 And while I’m at it … I love all of these pictures. 🙂
