A Day Late

I was so excited to get to drive the upgraded Chevy Traverse. We were told we would be driving one of the top of the line models for the last four weeks of the Mommy Madness promotion and by week three I had already formulated all of the awesome features I could blog about.

I didn’t end up getting contacted to trade out the vehicle until the start of week six. I was a little disappointed but thought, oh well, it’s still a really awesome car that they are letting me drive. So on Monday I was scheduled to trade in the Traverse I had been driving for the upgraded version, however due to a small miscommunication, the dealership didn’t have the new one ready.

I had already cleaned out the car and removed Aubrey’s carseat, which was no easy task, so I had to put her carseat back into the car so I could take her to day care on Tuesday.

Tuesday evening a salesman from the dealership came to drop off the new Traverse and my first reaction was to the gorgeous color of the car. It is a beautiful deep metallic gray. I think they call it Graystone.

He had me sit in the car and start it up so he could show me the various features. He thought that the car was missing Bluetooth which I have to admit was the feature I was most looking forward to using. I was so disappointed! However, on the drive home today I was playing around with all of the thousands of buttons on the dash and the steering wheel and stumbled across the Bluetooth feature! Yay! I quickly set it up and called Brandon to try it out. He didn’t answer but you can be sure I will be trying it again tomorrow.

I am missing out on one very cool feature though. The car is supposed to have remote start and remote rear lift gate control. Unfortunately the original key fob has been lost. Oh well.

None-the-less, Aubs seems to really enjoy the Traverse, regardless of features.

I don’t have remote start either, but i do have the remote liftgate and LOVE it! Makes grocery shopping so easy, especially on the last trip inside when my arms are full of grocery bags so I can just hit a button when I set them down inside.
